The Paradox of New Beginnings

Here's to another project that will hopefully not be abandoned. A blog is a great undertaking with promises of future content. I've been trying to teach myself to no longer promise things I intend to do, and only speak when something is finished. It's been several years of effort.
That said, it's hard to announce something that has only just started. What is a store with only one product? A series with one entry. A blog with one post. The completion of any project is a feat, but it's hard to declare an infinitely ongoing project complete. I have worked on this website for a month, roughly—picking a platform, changing the platform, pushing elements around, tweaking colors. Heard "stop being afraid and just publish it" several times.
No one wants to put something of poor quality onto the permanence of the internet, but most things worth doing must be started before they can be improved. The start of something new is a grand opportunity for change, but also represents the risk of monotonous failure and abandoned ambition.
"Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm." - Winston Churchill (allegedly)
So here it is. Website created, and a blog with one post. I hope this is the beginning of something great, but let's avoid promises.
